Frequently asked questions
How long is the contract?
We offer semester (6-month) or annual (12-month) contracts, starting in September or February. Contracts are renewable.
Are all expenses really included?
Yes. The monthly rent covers accommodation, Wi-Fi, heating, water, electricity and bed linen. No year-end top-ups.
What is the security deposit?
The deposit equals two months' rent, returned at the end of the contract after verifying the condition of the room.
Is there parking?
Parking is available on request at some apartments. Mention it in your message and we'll confirm availability.
When can I move in?
Standard move-in dates are 1 September 2026, 1 February 2027, and 1 September 2027. Other dates are possible on request.
Who can rent a room?
Students enrolled at USI, SUPSI or other Swiss universities and professional schools, as well as young workers and interns in Lugano.
